New Member Starting Battery something draining my battery

My 2008 explorer the battery is dead as soon as I turn the car off I have to jump start every time I drive it so aggravated
 






Hello please help tell me what to do when I got the 2008 explorer it started fine for about 2 weeks then I had to start taking the hot battery cable off go back out there to leave it would start now I can unhook the cable and I have to jump it off what can I do to fix or check my situation problem or my frustrations

I don't know if it is recommended to remove the + cable. Most posts that I have read recommend disconnecting the - cable to help reset some features. Sounds like it could be the alternator not providing enough charge to the battery. Have you checked or replaced the battery. Have you tried getting it boosted without disconnecting the cables?
