New Member with 02 Ford Explorer Limited 4.6L 4 Wheel Drive and O2 sensor Headache.
My garage consist of: two (2) 2004 Mercury Marauders (160.000 miles on my original bought new and 8,000 miles on the other, a recent purchase), 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK500 (Her car), 1967 F100 Pickup with 351 Windsor and FMX, and 1968 Mustang, with a 289 and C4 automatic, a 1997 F150, along with a 2002 Ford Explorer Limited 4 wheel drive with 4.6L V8 (again, her car).
With the 2002 Ford Explorer, I have an issue with my forward O2 Sensors (?). I've replaced the forward sensors, the PCM, the coils, the spark plugs, the battery, put a new intake on it ensuring no vacuum leaks there as well as replacing "most" of the vacuum lines, (My old big hands can't reach a couple vacuum lines), also cleaned the injectors, visually examined the wiring harness for "bad" spots in the harness and can't find anything wrong yet I keep getting codes PO135(general P2Sensor heater circuit, Bank 1, Sensor 1) and PO155 (general P2Sensor heater circuit, Bank 2, Sensor 1) and on occasion P1131(Lack of HO2S11switch sensor indicates lean)
The vehicle has 180,000 miles yet runs GREAT (till the codes kick in). Does anybody out there have an answer? I've thrown so much money at this thing I can't afford to give up. I've had it since new....Any, and all help appreciated.
