New member with 4wd low problem!

Hello!My name is Conny and i live in Sweden.
I have bought a 1993 Explore xlt and the 4wd dosent work!
I have knockt on the shift motor and the 4wd now worksbut my problem is the low rangeI have the transmission in N and the foot on the brake,but when i pull on the low range button the 4wd lamps gets dark and notting happens?what could be the problem?4wd works fine but i want the lowrange to work to!

sounds like it's still a shift motor issue

i've had the fallowing shift motor issues:
won't go back into 2wd
won't go into low range
won't shift at all.

you could try cleaning the concact on the sensor thing (Whatever its called) at the back of the motor.. that has contacts to tell the shift computer the motor position.

i'd just go to the JY and grab another t-case.. that's how i fixed mine
(or buy a new shift motor)
