New member with newly purchased 2003 Explorer Sport 2dr with yet another O/D light flashing question.

I have just ordered an Autel ML629 code reader ad my old one did not read transmission codes. I realize that this subject comes up a lot, and I have not read any codes yet, but checking the transmission fluid it is substantially overfilled. Would that cause the O/D light to start flashing? I'm also finding out the the this two door model is a bit hard to find accurate information on. It seems to be a combination of a standard explorer and a sport trac.

Thanks I did not know about this, but I already ordered the code reader, and my laptop is not that great.

Even a old Windows XP laptop would run it just fine. (Although I'd recommend Windows 7).

Doubt that reader can do ABS bleeding and it certainly won't do PATS programming.
