Hi to all. This is my first post. Glad to be a member. I have a 1994 mazda navajo Lx . Same car as the 1994 Ford Explorer . But you allready knew this.
I have had the car for 6 years . Normal maintaince issues . I am now faced with having to replace the fuel pump relay filter . Local shop wants 627.00. Is this a realistic price ?

Welcome to this forum! A relay is about $20, and the filter is about $12. You could replace these parts yourself.

Has anyone replaced the fuel pump [ Its in the gas tank ] I have been quoted
over 600.00 to do the job . Does this sound right ?

That's way too much money to drop the tank to replace the pump. Check the relay before you replace the pump.
