Hello.
Im a new member to this forum.
I have, or actually my ex wife have a 97 Explorer 4.0, which is coming up with plenty different issues nowadays :thumbdwn:, so im glad i found this forum.

Well, there is different issues, O/D lamp flashing, check engine lamp is on constantly, power lock is not working on two doors, and mileage im not sure, coz its stuck, but i beleive its around 160 000 miles.And when i went to the dealer to get it diagnosed, they were not able to connect. But its a good car, running nice.
I have checked the wirings and contact points, all good.
For the O/D lamp i will now change the speed sensors, see if that will help, i suspect so. For the check engine lamp, im suspecting its the O2 sensors.
And its good to check on this forum, getting lots of ideas and help here.
