Hello, All!
Just bought a 98 B2500 SE extra cab with fewer miles than my main ride (05 Focus ST). the truck is showing its age, but what the heck, so am I.
I've not had too much time to look at it yet but noticed right away that the negative battery cable connection is corroded and has had the top-post style clamp replaced so many times that its too short for another new clamp. Time for a new cable. Leaving the battery, the negative cable disappears into a loomed harness and I still haven't found the other end of it - so I'll be learning more about my new truck soon!
I don't have any plans for the truck except to keep it running in basically stock form. Will be reading up on all the fixes and tricks you guys have figured out over the years.
