- 2008 Mercury Mountaineer
Hi All! I'm new to forums, so please advise me should I do anything wrong. Any help will be appreciated.
I'm a 70 year old retired airline pilot. I drive a 2008/2009 Mercury Mountaineer. The reason for the split date is that the SUV was made for the 2009 Car Show Circuit, so it has many options that were not available on the 2008, when it was produced along with 30 some others just like it. Stuff like 20" wheels, power running boards, the advanced SYNC system, etc. It drives mechanics nuts when they tell me they can't get parts for it, and I tell them to try 2009. It has 15,100 miles on it and is in better than new condition overall, in and out. Of course, there was NO explanation to just what the differences include!
My other car is a 2012 Caddy SRX Performance (expensive) edition which DOESN'T HAVE A SPARE TIRE, nor run-flat tires, which are still not available for it! Make me angry much? You Bet!
