Well after a week in the shop, I got my Explorer back. I had gotten new disks, brakes, emergency brakes, Emerg brake hardware kits, heavier front sway end links, rear axle seals and mobile 1 rear fluid with all the misc parts to go with it all. The clunking that I though was due to the front ball joints is gone and I feel like its a new truck compared to how it felt before. The old emerg brakes were cracked and falling off the metal frames they are part of, and caused the truck to be under slight constant braking due to the broken and rusted hardware. I just relocated to TN from NJ and felt the ride went well. Its a good thing I had the truck checked out for what I thought was probably a caliper locking up. I am headed back to NJ the end of the month to see my children, and this could have been a really bad trip. I have also replaced the rear shocks and shackles last month. And will be getting new front shocks, ball joints, and tie rode next month. This truck should feel really nice after that. Also the end links were replaced because 1 was totally rotted through. It felt like wind buffeting my driver side when on the High Way, and driver side rear seal was really leaking.
