Hi,

I recently purchased a 2002 2WD ST from a family member. She owned it since it was new and put 160k highway miles on it. The truck is still in excellent shape and I hope to keep it that way. I paid $5k for it, which I didn't think was too bad.

The only problem it has ever had is the bolt on the rear swaybar fell off and its just flopping all over the place. I got a new hanger to fix that this weekend.

I really don't have any mod plans except slightly bigger tires. I'm not really interested in lifting it. I joined up to find out more info on these trucks and hopefully learn a few things.

Id look at it and guess it had under 70k miles, looks brand new!

Whats the interior look like?

The interior has your typical wear. The paint is peeling around the cup holders, the floor mats look dingy, etc. really that's about it. The seats are in perfect condition.

Thats good...I think seats are one of the main things to keep in good shape, my 92's interior is like they day she was bought still, but my drivers seat is worn out (17 year old eddie bauer leather LOL) and the bottom of the seat (where you sit on) is ripping, and thats a huge eye soar when your not sitting down.

Ive always liked the sport tracs, I just couldnt stand the taillights, lol yea I know its probably stupid, but idk to each his own :p:

I LOVE the new ST's though

nice sport trac u got there
