New system in...

Hey guys just thought id share this with ya, it needs some serious finishing up to do but i got it in and banging pretty damn good.

2 fosgate T2 15's, powered by a JBL crown bpx2200.1, that i am using instead of my gp3000D-pro.

i have been waiting for a buddy of mine to begin my wall install with our prototype aura nrt18 hybrid 18's. I have gone over a month without any boom, and just couldnt do it. tuned to around 37 hz..i think cabin gain is like 44hz so as you can imagine it gets with it.

im impressed with both the amp and subs they are a perfect match imho.


This system should be coming out in about a month possibly two, and im hoping to trade it as a package and include my gp3000d-pro or sell the 3000, but im trying to get my hands on the JBL a3000GTI...my dream amp

next build will be 2 of these:

in a wall 10 cubes each shared, tuned very low with polyfill and hopefully powered by an a3000GTI if not then possibly my 2200.1 reason is each driver is 4 ohms so i need amps that put out rated at 2 or 4 ohm..

anyone have a way to secure my rear window and wing windows? they flex pretty damn bad the rear window sounds like a machine gun :| i tried rubber bushings to hold it off the deck but that actually started to make the hatch looser...

you shouldn't need to do anything to the rear windows if you properly wall it off...the wall should block all pressure going to the back and keep it up front

yea im hoping for that but what about the wing windows? they flex BAD like a half inch in and out if the windows are up

wing windows...its what my dad used to call the windows that rotate outward in like 80's ford trucks, they are in the corner by the mirror...idk why but one day i just started calling my passenger windows? that...


i would love to get it on a TL but really i think id have to buy one :|

dangit, about another week, my buddy that has the cnc router and table saw is at sema trying to sell the drivers we put together, by we i mean well i assembled my 2 from scratch he pretty much acquired everything. so hopefully monday should be a start. im also going to upgrade my charging system in the next couple weeks. i think theres a real market for the aura hybrid seeing how it has handled around 800rms daily with no problems and weighs about 1/3 what a 18" subwoofer that can see 1000w rms would. real weight savings. ill start a new thread on the build whenever we get started, ill get some weight numbers in here for comparison
