2002 explorer 4.6 160k miles just put new timing kit in it an its running like ****.. i have 1 little wire behind the plenum i cannot figure out were it goes it looks like a wire that would plug on a sending unit..explorer will run decent then shut off after a min or warmed up i can unplug all 4 passenger side coil packs an it dosent affect it at all i can unpplug one from driver side an it almost dies it runs to good to only be running on 4 cy.s?! it sounds like a diesel on the passenger side one mechanic said it was my torque converter but defently a loud racket coming from pass. side valve cover ,it will clear up after 2k rpm an it seems to run smooth after 2k rpm..can that little wire be behind all this? im not getting any codes except for a po174-genreic system to lean bank#2 any help will be gladly appreciated this thing is driving me nuts!

got passenger side valve cover off an the cam sprocket bolt wasnt even tight.it elimanted the diesel noise but still have something that souns like a torque converter..or it sounds like exhaust pipe rattling or something rattling seems to go away when on the gas.
