2004 ford sport trac
Just purchased a 2004 Ford ST. Plan to put on 265/75 mud terrains on stock rims on soon.
Question...if i do the torsion adjustment (1.75 from what i have read) do i use
shackles or should i add a leaf on the rear? if i add a leaf with leafs on bottom of axle:eek: doesn't that lower it? Do i need a "key" for the torsion bar?
Who sells shackles and recommendation for 3" body lift?

And one more question... I have searched here and found that the spartan locker is a good choice for the rear (have 4.10 limited slip now) But cant find any info for the front diff. is there no option for the front?

I just did the add a leaf and I would suggest that. It's better in the long term than the shackles.

As for the torsion twist, you don't need the keys they sell. That's just spending money that you don't need to spend.

Just as a personal opinion if you want to put that size tire on and the 1.75 TT, if you like having a level-looking truck just do that torsion twist. The front sits a little lower stock so it's a really good look having it leveled and leaving the rear where it is. Just an option but I would choose the add a leaf if you're doing it

You're better off with the add a leafs to keep the leafsprings from flattening. On the other hand the factory shackles rust/ rot out and are almost as much as the Warrior Products lift shackles to replace.
