New to explorer forum needing some info

I've got a 2000 explorer sport. When I got it, the leaf springs had been cut, all but the main leaf were gone. I bought some from a junk yard and my explorer is still sagging in the rear. Is there a difference between leaf springs for a sport vs a 4 door?

all sports before 2000 only used a mono leaf. the ones that look like they are cut, are the way it came from factory. basically they are spacers. 95-01 4 door leafs will bolt into your sport. a lot of guys here (myself included) have swapped the saggy mono leaf for the 4 door leaf packs. they might lift your sport in the back a little, but it will also improve the handling

Welcome. I replaced the rear shocks on our 99 Sport with Monroe 58617 load assist shocks & it leveled out the truck just fine, but it rides a little harder.

thanks guys. still sagging but I'm going to try the load assist shocks. I would be ok with a little stiffer ride. just don't like how it sits right now.
