i just purchased a 1998 XLT 4.0 SOHC 4x4. It has a 154000 miles on the odometer. Its essentially stock except some 31x10.50 from the po. i am originally from California and currently live in Colorado. My end goal is a mild 4x4 daily driven prerunner.
As it sits I have 3 stages planned for my new project.
Stage 1
Routine maintenance, plugs, oil change, k&n drop in air filter and brakes.
Stage 2
Install a new radio and speakers and a single 10 in sub
Find new headlights
Paint the grill surround black
Stage 3
Bumpers and LED light bar
suspension work and 33s with fiberglass front fenders.
