New to site had a few questions

Hi all,
I just bought a 93 XLT 5speed and I had a few questions, It has the stock 4.0L, I was wondering if a 5.0 would bolt right in? Has anyone on the board ever done this? Is this even a good idea? Will I need to get a new trans also? This board looks really help and I look forward to posting on here as I modify my explorer.

No it will not bolt right in. SOme guys here have did it and its alot of work and involves alot of parts. There are some write ups here on the forum from some guys who have did it.
