hey guys my names is Jordan Raasch. I have a 91 ford explorer. stock for now just getting started. im am new to the forum thing. if anybody can tell me my my fuel gauge would randomly stop working that would be great.

Welcome to this forum! The sending unit might be going or the connector might have corrosion.

Welcome to the Forum , like stated above it could be more than 1-2 reasons , It could be the sending unit , could be a connection , or it could be that the float has sunk to the bottom of the tank , If you search on here you will get answers on how to check the sending unit , as well as how to remove and replace the tank/pump unit ! .

ok thanks was also wondering how hard and what i would have to do to take out out my dash. i want to get rid of the god awefull red interior and change it to black.
