NEWB that needs help

I just bought a 95 Eddie Bower explorer today. It looks great but i have a few questions. First of all, teh check light display comes on the console even though the lights are all working, What can i do about that? Secondly, right on the dash kinda behind the auto gear selector there is a 1 inch by 1 inch little blue square thing that says ford on it, its kinda like a mini remote control with one butoon on it, Whats this for? Lastly, when putting it in 4 low, i stop in neutral then turn the button to 4 low, it makes a fairly loud clunk and or jerk of the truck. Is this normal, will it be ok?? Thank you in advance.

i dont know the answers to all your questions, but i do know that the clunk in 4low is fairly common...no worries there....i am sure some one will come along and have all the answers to your questions, or you could try a search and see what you come up with.
