my wife has a 1991 ford explorer. i paid for it & its in my name so its mine but she drives it. i work on it. i fix it. i clean it.. it used to have crappy faded grey paint so i sprayed a silver & blue two tone with a black pinstripe. she's really into the jack guy from nightmare before christmas so i got her steering wheel cover, seat covers, floor matts, a 14" jack sticker on rear window & a 6" jack doll i secured to the grill... its got a spectra cai & dynomax exaust i got for it. also tomorrow im getting sum bfg a/t's installed on it..

nice looking paint.

Whats the color codes?

nice colors welcome to forum and what part of dirty jersey are you from?

Welcome To The Forum! The truck looks nice. Good paint job!

Like the 2 tone. Really accentuates the fact it's an old one, but that's not a bad thing. Looks like a tough truck. And is that a shocker sticker on the back window? ;)

im from EHC south jersey. would ya believe the paint is a rattle can job? with the right prep, & wet sanding it'll look real nice. i've had many many people swear it wasnt spray bombed but i keep a can in the rear to do "touchups". I sanded down complete body. used body filler here & there, used 3 cans of grey primer. did 2 coats. wet sanded. taped bottom off & sprayed top, silver again 2 coats. taped top off & sprayed 2 coats royal blue on bottom. untaped & wet sanded after a few hrs. then with a steady hand layed a black 1/4" pinstripe. then taped off rims & grille & sanded, primered, & painted blue total for paint & materials was under $100. i used the spraypaint it was $4 a can from lowes. coveres what 2 can would in one can. this is the 4th truck/car i've painted this way & everyone swears they were done professionally till i show them the cans to "touchup" & yes that is a shocker sticker...

the rattle can job looks GREAT!

I actually re painted a fender once like this and it turned out great. Duplicolor and clear with some hard work turns out great. I could not imagine the entire truck!

now you can. macco quoted me at $987 for same exact thing. i took it back after i painted & they swore i had it prof. done. so for under $100 & an afternoon worth of work i got a $1000 paintjob for pennies..

that is sweet =p i need to redo my door cuz of a dent
