2001 Ford Explorer
I have a 2002 Ford Explorer. I'm experiencing a problem with the blower, I believe. When I have either the vent or a/c on, and I move the speed from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4, I can hear the fan blowing louder with each speed, however it is not blowing more air. The air IS cold with the a/c, it's just not blowing like it should.

Welcome to the forum. You may want to see if there's anything in the tube blocking the flow of air, or if the actuator door is stuck in a weird position blocking the flow.

Easy Fix!

Thank you for the response! I took it to my little neighborhood repair place and he called within a half hour saying it was fixed! Here's the description on the repair order: "Air volume does not change with fan speed. Removed blower motor and found a rodent had made a nest inside the HVAC box just above the blower motor. Removed nest and reinstalled blower motor. Air flow was returned to normal." He also checked the wiring in the area for rodent "nibbling".
