Newbie here in need of cruise control help

Howdy All,

Found this site looking for an answer to my cruise control problem. Originally from MT now reside in ID. Married, 3 labs 2 of which are hunters. That about sums me up Anyway I am hoping you all can help with my issue.

The cruise control on my wifes 03 Explorer has stopped working. Occasionally the light will come on but the cruise will not engage. I am sorry to say mechanically handicapped. Other then doing my own oil changes I am lost.

Welcome to this forum! Which light are you referring to? Do you have any problems with transmission shifts, ABS, speedometer, etc? Do you have a problem with the cruise control all of the time, or only when the tilt wheel is in a certain position? What about anything related to the steering wheel like the horn, turn signals, etc? Did you check your fuses?
