- 2018 Explorer Sport
New to the crew, but long time explorer owner. First was a fourth gen way back in the day, kept that until 2016, and just over 300K miles on the ticker. Traded that for a new XLT, and kept that until 2018, where we decided on a sport. (This is the wife's car)
I dealt with plenty of aging issues on the 2008, as one would expect to encounter. But otherwise excellent rig. The 2016 had the small ecoboost engine. Was actually a great ride. Zero complaints. But this dang Sport has been a pain. Has less than 40K, and has had to have the whole stereo computer replaced. And now I'm chasing other issues.
Other than that, I love the look and feel of it, not a big fan of the 2020 model though. Feel like they gutted the muscle stance. But that's just my personal opinion. And you know the saying there.
Anyway, cheers.
