Hey everyone im from Nova Scotia Canada,,,,,,,,,, picked up an 98 explorer xlt 4x4 the other day (the woman & i decided we wanted a 4x4 suv),,, ,, once i got it home i noticed a loud rattle sound from the front of the engine ,, so i decided to search the net as i always do with n e vehicle/atv, etc and came arcross this site,, soo after reading everyones thread about the timing chain guides ,i started to tear mine apart and to see the Passenger side CAM guide was down in the Jackshaft sprocket chain bouncing around and the Balancer guide missing ,,, which most of it was laying in the bottom part (1st) the oil pan so now im trying to figure out how to change the frt CAM guide & that balancer guide ,,
