Hello and thanks for helping challanged mech, like me. I have recently bought a 1997 Eddie Bauer Explorer. 4.0, 4WD. I used the post about the 5 minute blend fix and that gave me cold air. I missed the one about programming the keyless entry and took it to the dealer. $75.00 for the remote and $45.00 to program it. The problem is now my cruise, 4WD, Center console, temp and compass all have quit working. Does anyone know what he might have done. I have paid him enough and don't want to be taken further. Thanks.

Check fuses, both inside and the relays under the hood. If yours is like my 96, there are ralays all over under the hood. On the left side by the power distribution box, under the air cleaner on the right side, and near the battery.
