issue, not getting any voltage reading off of the clip that goes to the compressor. Anyone have an idea what the voltage should be, or better yet, check it on theres? Light comes on when I push the ac button, but compressor doesnt even cycle. Can I run 12 volts from the battery just to check it out? Tried all the fuses, both under dahs and under hood, all good, even swapped out the relay. 1994 4x4 , thanks

If your frreon level is low from a leak then the low pressure switch on the side of the accumulator won't activate the compressor, it's the only thing before the compresssor in the circuit. Unplug the switch and jump across it with a small peice of wire or gem clip and if the compressor comes on then you either have a faulty switch or low freon level.

Later Doug.
