No bass when i play cds help

I HAVE A KENWOOD KDCMP8017 HEAD UNIT IN MY TRUCK MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE BASS WHEN I PLAY THE RADIO BUT NOT WHEN I PLAY CDS DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHY THIS IS HELP PLEASE THANKS:mad:

I believe the problem may be that each band ( tuner, cd, ipod, etc.) has its own mixer setting. Try going through you bass, treble settings in cd mode and see if thats the case.
 












i think your remote wire is hooked to your power antenna wire, therefore causing the amp to only turn on when the radios on. Check to see if your amp light is on when your playing cd's.

This is my bet as well. Saw this happen with a lot of customer installs

THANKS EVERYBODY THAT HELP ME I NOW HAVE BASS WHEN I PLAY CDS I ALWAYS THOUGHT THO YOU MATCH THE COLOR OF WIRE WITH THE SAME COLOR SO THATS WHY I PUT MY BLUE AMP WIRE WITH THE BLUE ON MY RADIO BUT IT WENT TO THE BLUE WITH THE WHITE ON IT THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE :p::thumbsup:
