No More Ford/Motorcraft Oil Filters & Oil at Wal Mart???

I understand Motorcraft/Ford will no longer supply mass retailers like Wal Mart--oil & oil filters in particular. Such products will only be available from the Ford shop.

Has anyone else heard this?

my buddy went to wally mart to pick up the "good-ol FL-1A" for his ranger but they didnt have ANY motoC filters.....i can however tell you, (working at Adv AP) we still sell them as well as Auto Zone

Yup, I got one at Adavance a week ago.

when I was in wal mart here last week they had a bunch of ford filters on the shelf.

Its been discussed before on the site. Wal-mart is slowing removing their supply of Motorcraft oil filters. The Wal-mart near me still sells Motorcraft oil filters but they are limited in types.

its weird......cause sometimes they have them here at the local Walmart......next thing you know they don't, then a week later they have them again.
