NO MORE PINGING!!

I bought some gummout throttle body cleaner and used it today(said it was safe on the lable, and the guy i talked to at pep boys recomended it). took it out on x-way and pinging is 99% gone and running better than ever! So i am a happy camper. Finally got a rain free weekend. Weather really sucks here in march, its either rainy or cold! Next up; finish cutting out airbox. BTW, i think a previous owner removed the PCV valve, because were it was SUPPOSED to be was just a rubber hose going from the valve cover to the intake manifold. Is it ok not to have one? later

How exactly did you use it?

Did you spray it down into the engine or just around the TB?

I sprayed it directly into throttle body, 10 sec then wait 10 sec just as directions said, to prevent harming cat converter. You have to keep it reved or it will stall.
