Gents (and ladies),

I picked up a Craftsman code reader this past week, and I've been monitoring the truck via the Live Data function in an attempt to diagnose some idle/cold start/rough running issues. I noticed that none of the O2 sensors are registering data. They all read 0% and -100.0V. Does the Explorer just not support this functionality, or are the sensors actually not working? No CEL or engine codes, by the way. All other sensors (TPS, MAF, IAT, ECT, RPM, etc) all read fine.

Thanks!

P.S. The truck seems to be idling at 650-700rpm when warm. 700rpm in park, 650 in gear. This sounds low, right?

The Explorer will report o2 sensor data. The idle sounds right.

If you've got over 100k miles on it and the o2 sensors have never been replaced, I'd just replace them as a matter of routine maintenance.

Truck is fully warmed up, reporting ~190* coolant temp. Running closed loop.

I replaced one sensor at 100k when a CEL and code popped. I just find it odd that they aren't reporting, I have no CEL or code. I hate replacing parts that aren't broken...

Perplexed.
