Replace the valve cover gaskets on my 94 Explorer 5-speed yesterday and today put the upper intake manifold back on and all the wiring and vacuum lines. After getting everything back on, it will crank healthy but not start. Checked the spark plugs and they aren't firing. I've done my best to make sure all the connectors were back in place but I'm beginning to think that I may have missed a connector. What connector could i be missing to cause no spark?

Thanks in advance

the 1 to the coil pack , think there is actually 2 of them . throttle position sensor , iac or intake temp . is the only ones I can think of off hand . also check the wire running down to the crank position sensor .

I've check all the ones you have listed to make sure they were connected and still not starting. I can hear the fuel pump when i turn the key if that tells you anything.

Connector secure at the edis module? I know it's not right next to the valve cover but if the other end of the wires got pulled on.

Cam position sensor plugged in? You didn't take it out by chance did you?

When I had this problem it was one of the 2 big plugs that mounts to the alternator bracket

Fixed it. Seems a large connector behind the alternator was disconnected. Probably disconnected it when trying to reach those stubborn valve cover bolts. Thanks for helping out. My bad forgetting that one connector

No problem man when it happened to me I had to post about it on here to these are some very helpful people glad to be of some help
