No spark after the crankshaft position sensor & pulley were replaced.

hi there i have a 04 4.0 explorer that the crank pully came apart on i changed the pully and sensor but still have no spark. could it be the computer?

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 2002-2005 section. Is the sensor properly aligned, and seated? Is the timing correct?

yes the sensor is in place im not to sure on the timing how can u check it

Do you have a timing light? There are timing marks on the pulley.

i do have a timing light where are the marks and what do they need to line up with

The timing marks will show every time the timing light flashes to indicate the degrees. Check this link: http://www.ehow.com/how_4752560_use-timing-light.html

May be hard to use the timing light if you can't start the engine
