no tie down hooks??? help guys

well as i found out a couple of weeks ago my 97 explorer does not have any tie down hooks or anything which made it hard to tow my buddies s-10 and other old chevy ***** in the deep snow!!!! i was wondering if there was any bolt on product that was worth spending my money on and that will hold up to towing and other stuff

Get a nice class III Hidden Hitch and a reciver shackle or reciver hook. Or you could install a set of tow hooks from Pep Boys onto the sides of your framerails. Hitch is your best bet though.

For the rear, if it's a 4x4, it should have come from the factory with a tow loop on the driver's side frame rail. It's not the strongest thing out there, but it works for light stuff.

For the heavy pulling, you'll want a frame-mounted hitch. $100 from any decent hitch installer.

For the front.....?? Can;t help much there....

You can get tow hooks. You just drill a couple holes and bolt them on. Only problem is that frame rails are UBER hard to drill through, a good bit, oil, and alittle of muscle and you'll get through though
