I have a 2005 Explorer XLT with advance trac and TPMS installed. My wife had the tires rotated my the ford dealer and after the tires were rotated a noise started coming from the front end while driving. I figured it was probably coming from the tires as they hadn't been rotated for quite some time and they were in need of replacement anyway. The noise sounded like when there are off road tires installed(the whine from the tires while driving). I couldn't take it anymore and I put new tires on and expected the noise to disappear. It hasn't. Louder at 55 mph and subsides just a little at 70mph. Loud enough that I have to turn the radio up so I can here it. I'm not sure what's causing this noise. Is it possible that the front bearings are going? I did replace the previous tires with Goodyear Futera tires.
