I'm brand new here, have a couple of questions I'd really appreciate any help with. I did search - and found conflicting answers.

My vehicle is a 98 explorer XLT - v6

I'm wanting to charge the AC tomorrow, as well change the bank 2 lower oxygen sensor.

My questions are -

Is the low-pressure AC nozzle the one the passenger side?

Is "bank 2" on this vehicle the drivers side?

Third - to remove the downstream sensor from bank 2, do I still have to remove the center console? I can easily get to the actual sensor, not sure about the electrical connector though.

Thanks very much for any help, I appreciate it.

low size is the smaller diameter port.

bank 2 is the drivers side.

i never removed an o2 through the truck always under the truck i believe it should be somewhere around the tail of the tranny plugged in.

On my 5.0, all of the O2 sensors connections are on top of the transmission. However, I am able to reach around from underneath (and I have big hands) so I have never had to do the center console thing.
