1991 Ford Explorer XLT
Picked up a '94 XLT for 3200 today. 124K miles, dark green/bluish in color. Everything is in near immaculate condition except for a minor rear main oil seal leak and intermittent ABS light and some dings/dents in the paint. Minor tears in the interior, but has an aftermarket stereo with MP3 player plugin, power everything that actually works! I AM SOOOO GLAD to be back in the explorer world. I MISSED my '91 sooo badly! Pix to follow soon.

WOW that is steep for a 1st gen (Around here at least)

But glad you found a new X you like:thumbsup:

they go for more money up here in the northwest. Congrats on the new ride! Any plans for it?

Well then again, 80% or more of the 1st gens around here are beat to hell and back, and have 200k or close to it.

I loved my 92EB, if only it had less miles, and none of the rust :p:

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm really liking this one. Its in really decent shape.

I am not sure, no plans right now as we are about to go through a bankruptcy, but eventually I want to lift it. Get new tires as well. Got some parts to replace like the rear hatch struts, the rear window wiper motor/arm, driver side mirror. I'm replacing the ignition lock cylinder soon. Not real sure which way I wanna go yet.

I traded it in back in january. Have a new car i cant afford the payments on. Soo i bought another x.

Congrats on the buy, hard to believe you paid so much for it but if you like it that's all that matters. We want to see pics of the new truck :D It would take all 3 of mine together to be worth that price :p:

Yeah, the 'boys' at the stealership I went to were not very good to deal with. They almost wouldn't budge from the $3999 they originally wanted. I shoulda waited and probably coulda found something cheaper WITH a 5 Speed, but oh well. Once the auto tranny craps on me, in goes a 5 speed.
I love it, its a great rig. Its in decent shape, some roof paint issues but nothing major that can't wait.
I will get some pix tomorrow when its light out.
