Not completely new but new

Hey all I'm not completely new to the forum but have been away for several months and how things have changed here. I am having problems with the new set up. When I post a new post it does not show up under new post. I am able to find it in the recent post listing but I am having some vehicle problems and need to get my question out there. Am I doing something wrong? On the old forum if I posted it would be right there for everyone to see almost immediately.
