Hello. So 99 ford explorer 4.0 v6 vin with x. 156000 miles check engine light on for egr and o2 sensor. So on occasion immediately after start up I get this whirring sound coming from inside the intake. I took off the filter and could hear it coming from inside. After u give it a little bit of throttle a couple of times it will lign out. Has been going on since I had a power steering issue. So what coukd the loud noise be? Its definitely something internal or so I believe. All feedback is appreciated. Please let me know if you need mpre info.
