not happy

Hi I have a 2002 XLT V8 Explorer. I need to find someone in the bendigo area that Knows more than Ford about this model. We think it might be timing chain, the vehicle is not running. It rattled for a couple of days then just stopped, has'nt gone since.

Welcome to this forum! How many miles does it have? How was the oil pressure when you heard the rattling sound?

car has done aprox 70,000miles. oil pressure warning light came on and beeped seconds before the car turned off. had noticed that the car had been starting to make slapping/tapping noise, so i had the oil changed. a month lated it was goodnight.
