Finally decided to become a legit member of the forum, even though I have been visiting for a year or more. The site has been very helpful so far!
I live in SE MI have a 97 XLT 4.0L OHV with about 175k miles on it. It's been a good truck so far and want to try and keep it going as long as possible. That's where advice from this site comes in handy. I also like to do as much work on our truck as I can, just 'cause I enjoy it and it saves $$!
Working through a few issues now and will be putting in a Screamin demon coil and new plugs soon as well as going through and trying to clean everything out, I've had a loss in mileage and some misfire and lean bank codes lately....
