2 separate issues. You need to get your codes scanned to give us a clue as to what the CEL is telling you. Most auto parts stores will scan your ODBII codes for free. Be sure to get a printout or to right down what the codes are. That will be a starting point.

I had it scaned at auto zone and orrielies and both scans gave no codes except gas cap leaking fixed that call Ford dealer and the said I don't have a sensore on my transmission

ODBII sensors are all emissions related. They are designed to operate w/in a specific electrical range. When the ECU receives a signal for a given senor which is outside of it's normal operating range it turns on the CEL and sets a code. If the CEL is on you have code(s) stored in the ECU.

The Transmission is a separate issue. If the O/D light is flashing it's the transmission's way of telling you something is wrong. I'm no transmission expert, but electrical solenoids and valve body gaskets are common problems which cause the O/D light to flash. I believe the trans codes can be read, but I don't know how. It might be that you need a scanner capable of reading trans codes (same thing for reading ABS codes).

I had it tested at auto zone and O'Reilly and didn't give a code for the overdrive just gas cap leaking called the dealer and they told

Ok ,is it possible the overdrive button could be going bad

Unlikely.

As far as the gas cap leaking. You need to keep in mind that ODBII codes are reporting a sensor is out of range. The reason why could be a bad/loose gas cap, but there a number of other evap system related things that can issue the same code. If replacing/tightening the gas cap doesn't turn off the CEL the actual problem may be elsewhere. Auto parts stores will not clear codes (they not allowed to by federal law). So unless you clear the code yourself it can take multiple "drive cycles" for the ECU to turn the CEL off.

Parts house scanners usually can't access Ford's "proprietary" transmission codes.

I bought this scanner at my local Pep Boys for 20 or 30 dollars.
Performance Tool Can OBDII Diagnostic Scan Tool
Part # W2977 SKU:1187614
I'm pretty sure if you order online you get a discount code of 25%.
Anyway, I know when I had a O/D light flashing I was able to pull a P0731 code which is a trans code.
You can clear codes as well.
