Hi,

I was just wondering what iPhone, iOS, apps you use with your wireless OBD2 sensors? I have seen OBD Fusion, BlueDriver, iOBD2, OBD Auto Doctor, and more. I don't have an Android device.

Anyone try any of these?

Thanks!!!

For a Ford, I don't think any are better than Forscan. You get all of the Ford specific data that generics won't give you. I use the Windows version on my laptop, but there are IPhone and Android versions also.

I agree with ForScan, majority of those products can only access generic codes which is convenient if that's what you need. ForScan helped me a lot to diagnose my EGR issues with my Navigator without using a vacuum pump or visually checking the hoses (the EGR valve is hidden under the wiper cowl and no access for that for testing)
I use the Output Mode to adjust the duty cycle of the EGR solenoid, this way I could test if I have a bad solenoid or bad valve.

There are still things that ForScan can't do especially the proprietary protocols, UBP for example that control the Air Suspension, AdvanceTrac calibration and other fancy modules.
