odd Skipping in Cd player

i have a 02 EB with the audiphile 6disc cd changer with a freshly burned CD it will skip in the upper tracks like 10 and up but never the lower tracks, i ran a lens cleaner mulitple times with no luck. any ideas?

I have same problem. The Ford CD players tend to lose their ability to play burned CDs well over time. I see it in a lot of stock CD players, actually. Try burning the CD at a lower speed. That should help, but you will probably still have the issue now-and-then as you do now. I have the same problem by-the-way.
 






its so annoying i dont think i even own a real Cd to test, so burning at a lower speed should help?

Burning CDs at a slightly slower speed (the slowest you can actually) is always better. You may still get some skips, but they should reduce somewhat. The more time the burning process has to work, the better quality the results. Try it and see what you get. It has helped with mine.
