Off Roading in Georgia

I am looking for a place to go off-roading near Atlanta, Georgia. I live about 60 miles east of the city, and was just wonding where I can go. I am currently restricted to small trail that aren't very fun and are over in about ten minutes. Thanks for your help.

hey ctresky,
im from atlanta area and have been looking for places as well. there is a somewhat local 4x4 club nearby and a couple of decent places from what i hear. i am making a general list and plan on trying to start an explorer club around here. i'm in the process of moving though, so it may be toward the end of the summer. i'll keep you updated.

didn't we already have a post like this? heh, oh, now I remember, that was about helping someone install something.. well, heh, sorry, but I'm still down here in augusta But a friend of mine has found a place down my the military base here that is kinda fun looking.. its really tame, but thats good for a 2wd.. I may try it sometime.. (with a 4wd friend and some chains of course ) look for areas of dirt or something... then after it rains have a look heh, it may not be a trail, but it'd be a fun place to go muddy up a bit heh
