Well your oil pressure gauge can go down for several reasons. Check your oil and maybe chande it and then see if the pressure is still the same.

it has been discovered that the oil guages in fords really suck... about half of them work..... check your oil regularly...like everytime you go to the gas station

The oil pressure gauges in our explorers are wired to an oil pressure SWITCH not an oil pressure SENDER. Basically as long as there is some pressure the switch will close and the gauge will move, normally if the switch is in good shape the oil "pressure" gauge will be in the same spot as battery indicator. If the gauge were wired to an oil pressure sender it would move around a lot rather than just stay in one spot. My guess is that your oil pressure switch has high resistance when it's closed thus causing your gauge to read low unless you have a charging problem and the battery gauge is also reading low. So if you are seeing the gauge move to the N position then you are getting oil pressure consider installing a real oil pressure gauge.

The air path through the radiator could be blocked if you spend a lot of time playing in the mud; even so I have pulled many a radiator that had a ton of built up crap in the air path from vehicles that had never been used off highway. The radiator could be plugged up on the inside, the thermostat could be stuck shut, you might need a coolant change or your fan clutch may not be working, take your pick.
