Okay, so I tried to search over and over and it seems the search ###tion isn't working. Here's the problem. I've had a tiny leak from the front of the LIMG at the passenger side for a while. It's really tiny so I never worried about it. The other day I removed the rad cap to check the level and the cap had some foamy residue that looks like oil on it. It had a brown color to it so I'm pretty sure it's not trans fluid. I'm getting no coolant in the oil, ever. Is it possible the oil in the rad is from the LIMG leaking oil into a water passage or am I looking at something worse? Again, I never have coolant in the oil so I don't think HG or cracked head is a problem. What do you guys think?

You need to figure out if it's trans or engine oil. Or just a nice rust buildup from old coolant.

I would flush and fill the system with water. Then run/idle for 10 minutes. Then drain. See what color oil is floating on top.

I'm pretty sure its not rust since I already replaced the thermostat and housing 6 months ago and replaced most of the coolant then. I'll try draining it again and refilling it and then check it again.

Start the car, remove the coolant cap and look for bubbles. If you got bubbles then you may have a cracked head. You can also do a pressure test on the cooling system to check for a possible HG leak. Usually oil in coolant/ coolant in oil means HG issue.
