Nope it wont make your gas mileage better, cause now your foots gonna be in the pedal all the time to hear it. :D

yea but as my foots in the pedal i am accelerating!! so i might be loosing alittle right?

Did you install it yourself or did you have it done. If you installed, how difficult was it? Did you have to weld on or is it bolt on?

no i had a shop do it, but i watched almost all of it!! they had a difficult time it looked like!! bending the pipe around the stuff!! no it wasn't bolted on there was welding any other questions??

Dang, I was hoping I could do it myself to save $$$. I'll have to see if any of my friends know how to bend pipe and weld. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy your flows...

the 40 series sounds good, i wish i kinda had a manual transmission nowbut oh well i got duals out the back i notice a difference in my acceleration so i think i was worth it

Do you mind saying how much it cost you?

na no problem $234 out the door

how loud is it??

I watched them do mine the whole time too. Though it's interesting to me, I also figure that they won't really start fugging up if I'm there watching. I like the pressure it puts on them too.

If you buy a Flowmaster catback kit, you actually can install it yourself. This goes for Gibson as well. All the connections bolt together, but you'll probably want to bring it into a shop and have them weld it together to finish things off for a nice seal exhaust. If you want to run it off your stock pipes, you could most likely do this yourself as well given everything lines up right and you don't need to do any special fabrication.

That's a great idea EBInterceptor. I'm gonna have to look into the catback. The only thing is that I don't want too loud of a sound. I like the way Rocket5979 sounds ( http://www.section525.com/rocket5979/ ). I want the deep gurgle a V8 should have, but I don't want it to be real loud. It needs to be louder than stock of course, but not crazy hot-rodded mustang loud.

yea the 40 series is not to loud but i get great acceleration!! i only have put a kkm intake and the flowmasters and big difference!! but i have only had them for two days so i am trying to see how my gasmilage is going to be!! i have heard that it will suck cause i will get a lead foot from loving the sound!!

i work in a shop, and although it gets more pressure on me, when a customer watches, but then it takes an extra long timee becuase i am being too careful, sometimes i will actually forget things as they are watching me like a hawk... like its too much and makes me more nervous

Maybe I should back off sometime and just periodically check to see what they are doing. I just like to make sure they are doing things the way I want them to.

ok not to bud in but how are you making sure they do things right, if you are bringing it to there shop let them do there thing!! LOL
