Okay ive taken the first step in my 2wd to 4wd conversion

I went and looked at a 87 ranger 4x4 5sp and the body is real rough, I just need to know if the transfercase will fit in my 1994 x or if im going to have to some cutting to make it fit. Im also going with a soild axle in the front with leaf springs. I was also wondering if anyone had anything on flipping the front axle how im supposed to do it.
