Can someone tell me how to find and then change an oxygen sensor (bank 2, lower, according to error code)?

2001 E.B. 130K miles. runs great, but check engine light has come on. Happened two months ago and changed MAF sensor and the light went out. Now this.

I don't mean to be stupid but did anyone answer my question. Please help.

I don't know what there is to tell, bank two lower is probably the passenger side after the converter.

You have to disconnect the connector, spin the sensor out, install the new one.

If I remember right, the connector is on top of the transmission, it's tough to reach. It may be better to remove the center console, peel the carpet back, remove the access hatch. I was able to change mine without doing that, but it was difficult.

Bank 2 is the drivers side.

Correct. Now, why the code? That is a very strange code to get on a stock vehicle. Those sensors almost never toss a code. But it is possible. You haven't removed your converters or played with the exhaust have you? You also might crawl under there and see of the wiring is still intact. You're looking for the aft cat sensor on the driver's side. The only thing that sensor does is check the efficiency of the cat. It compares the exhaust gas after the cat to the sensor reading in front of the cat. When it gets out of spec, it throws a code. So maybe the sensor is fine and you need a cat.
