The closest "town" is Burnt Woods, population 34. Im about 25 miles from Corvallis (Oregon State University - Beaver NATION!), and 30 miles from Newport. Im right at the high point of the road to the coast, elevation 842ft.
The 97 is my beater. Runs great but is such a base level that it even has vinyl seats and no center console. The lightbar, spotlight and radio and siren setup have all been removed (and left some gaping holes as well ), but shes got an upgraded suspension I believe.
There is a loft in the shop, and a woodstove. Might be tough without a bathroom or running water out there....but since Im adopted myself and know how I "turned out"...I gotta pass
it was actually my 98 that Im working on cleaning up and fixing. My 97 is my beater. Its gone from 4WD to 1WD but just keeps getting me where I want to go. Its getting retired once the 98 is done.
