have you checked local ads if nterested in used tires..

check craigslist.org
as they have a local for sale section and I bought mytires off that web site.

and welcome to the site. Use the search button as you can find anything you can imagine...
WOW to be 16 again...

Whats up, I'm 16 too... so I get your whole "at a good price" thing, hahaha, I work at Jack In The Box.

You can find quality 31x10.5 just about anywhere on the net, but if you can, try to find them locally (like at a tire shop) because sometimes shipping can be a pain in the pocket.

From what I understand, the BFG A/T's are your safest bet (depending on how often you go off roading). And they will run you about $120-$150 a piece from what I've seen.

Also, depending on wheels you currently have, it probly wouldn't hurt to get new wheels.

Thanks ill check those out lol and im only makin 5.65/hr so i dont have alot of spending room but that job is cake lol cant wait to get on the trails :)

Isn't that minimum wage?

Its up to that much now? I don't keep up. Its been a very long time since I was 16. I think it was about $3.25 or $3.35 back then. :p

i remember my minimum wage job when i was 16(5.50 an hour at a movie theatre).... considering i'm only 17 its still clear in my memory. my truck saw absolutely no changes with that job. my only advice to you would be to keep saving. dont get anythign till you can get enough lift and money to fit 33's. you'll get 31's and then want more. i got 33's and i want more. just be patient. took me over a year to get enough money to do stuff to my truck. and when you graduate.... its a good boost in the truck fund. it allowed me to regear and lock the truck front and rear(not installed yet, but i have the stuff). good luck man, i know exactly where your coming from.

Thats nothing, minimum is up to 6.75 in Cali right now.

And I'm lovin it, my parents are divorced, so my mom gave me the X, and my dad pays the insurance (parent rivalry thing). So I have no expenses, other than gas.

UGH! Some of us worked for every penny we got back then (bought car, did repairs, paid for gas, and insurance), of course my parents are still together. I would rather have to pay for stuff than to see the rivalry thing. :)

haha anyone want to come to SC the minimum wage is 5.25.... and takers for a new job at the local Mcdonalds...? ... haha SC... they always leave us in the dust i woud love to start out at 5.65 or whatever... but im glad i give golf clinics at the golf course... 20 bucks an hour...
